- To represent the commercial interests of its members, to hold regular consultations with government to advocate, provide feedback on, and help formulate policies and legislations affecting business practices
- To further business relations and establish institutional linkages with local and foreign Chambers of Commerce and related organizations to develop mutually beneficial business relationships via Memoranda of Understanding, and other forms of Understanding.
- To organize B2B meetings, business seminars, conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs, Buyer Seller Meets, and other business promotional activities.
- To conduct market surveys and other useful research commercial studies on business opportunities, Govt rules and regulations etc. and circulate the findings to its members to make use of them for their business promotion.
- To extend all possible assistance in resolving the trade disputes, and other business issues within the ambit of AGCCI
- To exchange views, ideas and expectations with its members with foreign businessmen and industry houses.
